It sure has been a busy back to school season for us and we thank you for shopping local. This month features Katie Halliwill as our 'Dancer of the Month'. Dancy Pantzers! A big thank you to everyone who joined us last weekend for our 3 Year Anniversary sale. It was the perfect kick off to our 'Back to School' season and we are excited to visit some of our local dance studios in the coming weeks for fittings!  Dancy Pantzers!  Can you believe it? We are always halfway through 2021. The new dance season will start before you know it. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer whether you are taking summer dance classes, attending a summer intensive, traveling to national dance competition, or just kicking back and relaxing. Read about an event coming soon near you -- Motor City Tap Fest-- and why you should attend this year!  Some fun things happening at Dancy Pantz this month include our Christmas in July Sale on July 23 & 24. Come on in for Santa hat specials throughout the store and receive a special present as our gift to you!  Our ‘Tap into Summer’ event is also continuing through August 1st.  Happy June!  We are so proud of all of our studios for getting through this past year and being able to celebrate their hard work with end of year recitals! Congratulations dancers, studio owners, and our dance families. You did it! Due to declining coronavirus rates and increasing vaccination numbers, we are now only requiring masks for individuals who are not fully vaccinated per CDC guidelines. If you do not feel comfortable shopping, please reach out to us and we can schedule a separate appointment time for you! This month we feature Emma Heyd who was nominated by her teacher Jenna. She is a senior dancer at Spirit Expressions. Dancy Pantzers! We hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. We sure did have a good time celebrating the special day! Inside this issue, read about differences between split sole versus full sole shoes, and what kind are best for you. Also, we are hosting a NEW EVENT--- Tap into Summer! Our 'Dancer of the Month' is Miss Sydney Butler. She has been nominated by her friend, Nessa Jenks. She dances at Studio H and it is her Senior year! Read about her successes inside. Dancy Pantzers!  Happy Spring. We hope you are enjoying the warmer weather... and the fact that we can finally attend DANCE COMPEITIONS again! Whoop whoop! Read all about the pros and cons of the new format most dance competition companies are using this year, and what they are planning on for the future.  Our 'Dancer of the Month' is Julia Thompson. She is a senior at Haslett High School and was nominated by her mom and dad. Read about what she is doing next and all of her accomplishments over the years. Thank you to everyone who send in nominations! We had a lot of dancers to choose from and will be sure to keep them in mind for future newsletters.  Lastly, we will plan on continuing the same hours until further notice (Tu-F 12-6pm & Sat-Sun 12-4pm OR by appointment).
